Project Title :

"Web Portal and Knowledge Mining Using a Case Pilot System of MODE - the BSOU Portal"

Baltic Sea Open University (BSOU) web portal creation using semantic web technology and results from structure mining. Project was conducted as part of an exchange with University of Vaasa, Finland for a duration of 3 months.

Master's Thesis Title :

"Automated Web Information System via Semantic Web Technologies"

The thesis is about creating a generic module of an automated system for data harvesting, data updates and data integration via Semantic Web technologies. Phases include web mining to seek a stable structure and schema for the system; utilizing data analysis results; web portal interface design; data extraction scripts and metadata creation for embed. Results obtained are automatically stored and sort ready to be absorbed into the portal for presentation. The thesis is targeted to concentrate on creation of a generic Semantic Web automated system with the BSOU portal taken as a sample case. Thesis is also conducted with affliation to University of Vaasa, Finland and University of Applied Sciences Kiel, Germany.
